Olowalu Plantation House is one of those venues that just works for photography — wide open shoreline, no visual barriers, and nonstop ocean views that give every part of the day breathing room. The house itself has character in every corner, so getting-ready and detail shots never feel repetitive, and there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. Sunset portraits out on the point with the West Maui Mountains behind you are hard to beat; even when clouds hang near Lānaʻi and soften the sun, the light stays beautiful and gives me something cinematic to work with.
