The Venue

On the morning of Halloween, the soon-to-be-wed couple, Mundy & Courtney were moments away from walking through their Halloween-inspired, enchanted forest wedding theme. They chose the Kula Botanical Garden as their wedding venue. It was the perfect weather to set a dark, enchanted wedding vibe with big clouds hanging over the Kula wedding venue as it blocked out the sun from time to time, providing relief from the bright hawaiian sun.

The Ceremony

As a cellist begins to play, guests take their seats while eagerly awaiting the start of the ceremony. The bride's father, who's also the wedding minister, approaches the simple, yet chic altar with the groom, followed by the ring bearer. The flower girl then leads the path for the bride to march down the aisle as she is escorted by her son. The family of the bride played a huge role in creating the wedding theme of dark blues and reds for the altar, bouquet and groom's attire.

The Bride & Groom

After the ceremony and family photos were finished the bride and groom stole away, deep into the upcountry Maui garden. The Kula Botanical Garden is a maze of beautiful arches, patios, benches and overgrown walking trails. The further you pushed in, the more the trees invaded the sky above, blocking out the sun and giving off perfect moody vibes. The bride and groom's favorite location for their wedding photos was the covered bridge, hoisted above a gentle running stream.
